On this page I want to talk to you about the way I work. Many people are under the impression that designers and decorators only specify high end items, which would undoubtedly drive up the cost of a completed space. With regard to the way I work, believe me, this could not be farther from the truth. That is not how I work. When I work with you, a realistic budget is always discussed. Let's face it, I can shop ANYWHERE and get the "good stuff". I can source your project "high" and I can source your project "low". It's all about having an eye for what is right for the space and what you can afford. Let's face it, I have scored some incredibly fabulous finds at Home Goods and have gotten more for less. Who doesn't like that? I am a firm believer in "Mixing It Up" -- which means finding and splurging on one, two (or more) fantastic higher end, great quality items that really make a statement and a difference, and then filling in where needed with more budget friendly items. I can be found scoping out Home Goods and Marshalls just as often as I can be found scoping out the magnificent showrooms at the New York Design Center and the Decoration and Design Building. And somewhere in between there are fantastic retailers and countless discount websites that I am constantly surfing. So don't worry about it. I've got your back, and I understand where you are coming from.
